Using this site
This site is run by Small Town Select Tournaments for teams, coaches, and families taking part in our baseball and softball tournaments in Texas. By registering a team or using the site you agree to these terms.
Registration
- The person registering a team must be the coach, manager, or an adult acting for the team, and must give accurate information.
- Rosters must be truthful. Players must meet the age rules for their division as posted on the Ages and Rules page.
- A spot in a tournament is confirmed when the entry fee is paid or the tournament director has agreed to other arrangements.
Fees and refunds
Entry fees, season fees, and insurance fees are shown at registration. Payments are processed by CardConnect. Refunds and credits for weather, cancellations, or withdrawals are handled by the tournament director. Contact smalltownselect@gmail.com or 254-592-8727 with any payment question.
Waiver
Participation is at the risk of each team and its players. Every team accepts the participation waiver shown during registration, which states that Small Town Select Tournaments and its host locations are not responsible for injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from participation in or attendance at any event, and that teams must carry team insurance as described at registration.
Conduct
Coaches, players, and spectators are expected to follow the tournament rules and treat umpires, opponents, and staff with respect. Tournament directors may remove a team or individual for conduct that violates the rules.
Photos and content
By uploading a team logo, team photo, or champion photo, you confirm you have the right to share it and you allow it to appear on this site and in tournament materials such as champion pages. Ask us to remove any photo by email.
Accuracy of information
Schedules, scores, standings, and brackets are posted as quickly as possible and may change. Always confirm game times with your tournament director.
Our content
The site design, text, and images belong to Small Town Select Tournaments or the people who supplied them. Team logos belong to their teams.
Limits
The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, Small Town Select Tournaments is not liable for losses arising from use of the site or from taking part in an event. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
